Registration

We are pleased to announce that online registration is now open for the
SAWC & WHS 2009 Meeting in Dallas, Texas, April 26 - 29, 2009 at the
Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center. This will be our 19th Annual
Meeting and the Program Committee has been working very hard to make
sure this will be an absolutely outstanding meeting.
As you register, we would like to be sure you are aware of two items:
First, make sure during registration you note you are a WHS member so they can place you in the WHS wing of the hotel. The Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center will be our meeting hotel for the Wound Healing Society meeting. You will see that option when you register.
Secondly, we are extremely happy to announce that we have worked to continue the
WHS membership discount for registration. There will be a 20% discount
on your registration provided you are up to date on your 2009 dues. This is a significant savings, so don t miss out. If you wish to renew now you can do so at our website at www.woundheal.org under the membership Section.
To Register:
Please log into the members only section of the WHS website with your member
number and password to access the link to meeting/hotel registration.
Your
login will only work if you have paid your dues for 2009. If you paid
recently you will have to wait approximately 5 days for that to be
updated.
Important note for students:
SAWC policy: A student discount will be offered if the registration is done by mail
with confirmation from a faculty mentor submitted along with the
registration form. Student discounts cannot be combined with any other
discounts, including membership discounts. The student discount is $100
off of the main conference rate of a non-member.
We look forward to seeing you in Dallas!

WHS Young Investigator Awards

The awards recognize top young researchers who are medical or graduate students,
postdoctoral fellows, or residents involved in wound healing research.
Eight eligible abstracts are preselected on a merit basis (scientific

judges then selects the top four presenters as the award winners. The
