As the 2018 WHS Annual Meeting nears, we wish to draw your attention to the recently added Corporate Membership. In addition to all of the standard member benefits, corporate benefits include... More Innovations in Wound Healing (IWH) Conference was held in December 7-10th in Bimini. This conference was supported by the WHS Regional Meeting grant and featured cutting edge basic and translational science research and most recent clinical developments. The topics included stem cell therapies, aging, inflammation and repair, energy-based technologies, bioengineering organs on a dish, surgical approaches to wound healing, updates in clinical trials, and mHealth and tele-health. It was exciting to see many WHS members among speakers and participants ranging from current trainees to current/past leadership. WHS regional meeting support was earmarked to support young investigators who presented their research at the IWH meeting and they were awarded 2018 WHS membership. In addition, six WHS awards were given – three to oral abstract presenters and three to poster presenters.
