WoundShark Innovation Competition

Submissions must be received by April 13, 2020.

The Wound Healing Society (WHS) is pleased to continue the Wound Shark product innovation competition during the 2020 Annual Meeting.

The competition will take place on Wednesday May 13, from 12:45 - 2:00 pm at the WHS Annual Meeting in San Diego. Following a brief introduction of the program, the competition will focus on two areas of wound research. A translational track (clinical and research studies) and a commercial track (products and devices). Participants will be solicited by a general email and must be wound healing members to participate. Each participants will have 5 minutes to present their work in a single PowerPoint slide. Presentations will be followed by Q&A from judges and a winner from each track will be announced. Track winners will receive a prize, crystal award, and 10 hours of mentorship support opportunities from Alira Health. This session is a WHS Members Only Event. Lunch will be Provided.

Only WHS MEMBERS can apply for the prestigious awards. Please apply online if you are not already a WHS member.

A panel of esteemed judges from the program committee will review the submissions and select the top three submissions for a five-minute elevator pitch. The best Research and Translational Track pitches will each win a $500 CASH PRIZE sponsored by Alira Health.
